Why I'm starting this blog?

Two months ago, at this very computer, I was desperately searching for a place to take my date later that night. It was the first time we were going out for dinner, and I really wanted to impress the girl . I scoured the internet for ideas on a good date location, but to no avail (turns out I should have been searching the web for "ways to leave your date halfway through without the other person noticing"). Site after site contained the same useless information about prices and atmosphere. I had to defer to one of my roommates (a chick) for a romantic, but easy on the cash monies, establishment. This started me thinking about a number of different issues I had with online reviews. For starters, the authors never answered several important questions: Would I take a date here? Would I come here with my friends for a crazy night? Will I be embarrassed if I vomit my shot of Jack onto the bar? All important, and surprisingly real questions to consider when planning the weekend's schedule. Therefore, I am writing this blog with the intention to answer and experience the many questions that you, the reader, should be asking before taking to the streets of Boston.
